Customer service !

I am inspired today to write about customer service and the lack of it. I have no idea why I am still surprised when I call a business and get someone who is rude or lacks training in the arena of customer service. It is all too common.
Today I called about my inter-net service, you know that service we all must have, and going a day without it is like going a month without it. Well no surprise the girl on the ohter end of the phone was in a bad it is Monday mood. I told her my service was off and had been all weekend and that I would like it back on , basically she told me she was too busy right then and that she would when she got around to it and she had this whole list of things to do first. EEKS really so in one sentence she said to me you are not important and your lack of service is not important to me or to my company because I think that she forgot that when answering the phone she no longer represents her self but her company. While I was eager to get busy with my inter-net tasks I knew I had some other things I could move around and do first and so I accepted her poor service at, it should be on in about 20 minutes. About 30 minutes later I checked to be sure the service was on, well no surprise it was not on. Again I called and got the same cheeky little gal who was still too busy to help my service . This time however it became a matter of principle and I was more insistent I asked who the office manager was and fund I was not surprised by her answer that it was her......oh yes she claims it is her and it very well maybe her too, so of course I had to ask then who is your supervisor . Needless to say my service still was not on and oddly enough her supervisor was not around. This interaction however was even worse than the first because she raised her voice and spoke over and interrupted me too.
To get the service I needed 10 minutes later I had to call tech support and have them do her job for her.
As you can see my service is on but now so am I !
